Students with over 50 credit hours will receive provisional acceptance to the major, pending fulfillment of the departmental requirements. Transfer credits for media courses taken at another institution will be evaluated for credit toward the media major. In order to move from provisional major to major, all transfer students must take (and successfully complete with a minimum GPA of 2.5) 3 courses from the Department of Media Study. In addition, transfer students who wish to enter the Production Concentration must submit a portfolio for review.
